On the Domains page, open the domain's "..." menu and choose "Delete domain", then confirm. This removes the domain from Winnr, deletes every mailbox on it, removes the DNS setup, and frees the domain slot on your plan. To delete several at once, select them and click Delete in the action bar, then type DELETE to confirm. Deleting also stops the domain from renewing. Pre-warmed marketplace domains are cancelled (returned to Winnr) rather than deleted.
Delete is one action, not a choice
There's no separate registrar step and no renewal setting. While your account is active, Winnr renews the domains it registered for you before they expire (you get emails 30 and 14 days ahead), so deleting the domain before the date in that email is how you stop it renewing. Deleting is also how you remove a domain. When you delete, the domain is removed from Winnr and every mailbox on it is torn down. If mailboxes on the domain are still sending, finish with them before you delete.
Bulk delete
Select the domains on the Domains page, click Delete in the action bar, and type DELETE in the confirmation dialog. You can select as many as you like. Large selections are sent in batches of 100 automatically. If the selection includes pre-warmed domains, the dialog tells you they will be cancelled instead of deleted.
Delete-then-recreate is not a rename
There's no rename feature. If you want a different domain name, you delete the domain and add a new one. The new domain starts fresh, with no warming history and no sending reputation.

1. Find the domain
On the Domains page, find the domain's row. Use the search box if you have a lot of domains.

Click the "..." menu at the end of the row and choose "Delete domain". (On a pre-warmed domain this item reads "Cancel pre-warmed" instead.)

3. Confirm the deletion
A dialog asks you to confirm and reminds you that it removes every email user on the domain. Click Delete. To delete several domains at once, select them, click Delete in the action bar, and type DELETE to unlock the button.

4. Let it finish
Deletion runs in the background. The domain shows as "Deleting" until its mailboxes and DNS setup are removed, then it disappears from the list. You can navigate away while it runs.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to the mailboxes on the domain?
They're deleted along with the domain, and their stored mail goes with them. If you had warming on for those mailboxes, it stops. If you only want to remove the mailboxes and keep the domain, select the domain and use Delete Accounts in the action bar instead.
Can I recover a deleted domain?
The app treats deletion as permanent, so export anything you need first. Winnr does keep a record of deleted domains and mailboxes (settings and login details, not the emails themselves), so if you delete something by mistake, contact support@winnr.app quickly and the team will see what can be restored.
What about DNS records outside Winnr?
If you pointed your nameservers at Winnr, the zone Winnr hosted is removed, so point the nameservers somewhere else if you still use the domain. If you connected with a Cloudflare API token or added records manually, the email records stay in your own DNS. Remove them yourself to avoid stale entries.
Does deleting a domain affect my plan limit?
Yes. The deleted domain no longer counts against your plan's domain cap, so you can add a new domain in its place.
Can I delete a Subdomain Strategy domain?
Yes, but delete its subdomains first. The main domain can't be deleted while subdomains are still attached to it, because they depend on its DNS.
What about pre-warmed marketplace domains?
Deleting a pre-warmed domain cancels it instead. It's returned to Winnr, its mailboxes are removed from your account, and your pre-warmed billing drops at the next renewal. See [Cancel a pre-warmed domain](/help/marketplace/cancel-prewarmed.html).
Is delete different from cancelling my subscription?
