Quick answer

Winnr Agent is the AI assistant inside the Winnr app. Click the round chat button in the bottom-right corner of any page to open it. Ask how something works, or ask it to do something for you: look up your domains and mailboxes, add or change custom DNS records and DMARC on up to 50 domains at once, run DNS health checks, set up redirects and catch-all forwarding, create or delete mailboxes, manage mailbox templates, and turn warming on, off, paused, or resumed. Before it changes anything, it shows what it's about to do and waits for you to click Confirm.

What you can ask it

Questions about Winnr. How warming works, how to connect a domain, what a DNS error means, what something costs. It answers from Winnr's help content and points you to the right place in the app.

Questions about your account. Your plan, usage and limits, billing status and renewal date, which domains you have and their status, which mailboxes are on a domain, and how warming is doing across your mailboxes.

What it can do for you

Everything in this list asks for your confirmation first.

Area What the agent can do
Domains List and inspect domains, check their DNS status, run a live DNS health check on up to 10 domains, delete a domain
Custom DNS Add, change, or delete TXT, CNAME, A, and AAAA records, and set or reset DMARC, on up to 50 domains at once
Redirects and forwarding Set up or remove a website redirect, and set up or remove catch-all email forwarding
Mailboxes List and inspect mailboxes, create new ones, delete existing ones
Mailbox templates List, create, and delete reusable name and username sets
Warming Show warming status and a summary, and enable, disable, pause, or resume warming
Inbox Refresh the universal inbox to pull in the latest mail

Deleting a domain or a mailbox can't be undone, so read the confirmation card carefully before you click Confirm.

Tips

What's next

Step-by-step

  1. 1. Open the assistant

Click the round blue chat button in the bottom-right corner of the app. A side panel titled "Winnr Agent" opens. You can drag it wider, collapse it, or click Clear to start a new conversation.

  2. 2. Ask a question or give an instruction

Type in the "Ask anything..." box, or pick one of the suggested prompts such as "List my domains" or "Show my warming status". Plain language works, for example "Add a CNAME called track pointing to prox.itrackly.com on all my domains."

  3. 3. Review the planned action

For anything that changes your account, the agent shows a card listing each planned action. Nothing has happened yet at this point.

  4. 4. Confirm or cancel

Click Confirm (or Confirm All when there are several actions) to go ahead, or Cancel to drop it. The agent then carries out the change and reports the result.

Frequently asked questions

Does Winnr Agent cost extra?

No. The assistant itself is free to use. Actions it takes are billed the same as doing them yourself, for example enabling warming costs the usual $0.60 per mailbox per month, and extra mailboxes beyond your plan use $1 email-user credits.

Will it change anything without asking me?

No. Looking things up happens straight away, but every change (creating or deleting mailboxes, DNS records, redirects, forwarding, templates, warming changes, inbox refresh, deleting a domain) is shown to you first and only runs after you click Confirm.

Which DNS records can it add?

TXT, CNAME, A, and AAAA records, plus a custom DMARC policy (or resetting DMARC back to Winnr's default of p=reject). It works on up to 50 domains in one action. Adding a record with the same name and type as an existing custom record replaces its value, which is how you change a record.

Why can't it add a record to one of my domains?

It can only edit DNS that Winnr hosts, which covers domains bought through Winnr and domains connected with Winnr's nameservers or a Cloudflare token. If you connected a domain by adding records manually at your own DNS provider, add extra records there. The agent also won't edit the mail records Winnr manages (MX, the root SPF, DKIM, the inbound A record) and won't put a CNAME on the root domain.

What can't it do?

It doesn't buy domains, change or cancel your plan, update payment details, or export credentials. Use the Domains page, Settings → Subscription, Settings → Billing, and Email Users → Export for those. For anything it can't answer, email support@winnr.app.

How is this different from the MCP server?

Winnr Agent lives inside the Winnr app. The MCP server lets an AI assistant you already use (such as Claude or ChatGPT) manage your Winnr account from outside the app. See [Set up the Winnr MCP server](/help/api-mcp/mcp-setup.html).
